This silk kimono features a lustrous rinzu (damask) silk base. The garment is rendered in a sophisticated chartreuse-green hue, with an all-over woven diamond and floral fretwork pattern that adds an architectural foundation to the piece. The lower hem is adorned with a sweeping botanical composition, created through a complex layering of silkscreening, surihaku (impressed metallic foil) outlining, and delicate sumi-e (ink wash) brush painting for organic highlights.
