This ro (gauze, for summer) silk kimono, designed for a special occasion like a wedding, is intended for either a boy or a girl. It's part of a set that includes a white juban undergarment. The motifs on this kimono are created using yuzen-dyeing and surihaku gold outlining, and it boasts five family mon (family crests). It appears to have been worn perhaps only once, measuring 33 inches (84 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at a height of 40 inches (102 cm).
