This seemingly unassuming silk kimono harbors a wealth of techniques: yuzen-dyeing, a rinzu (damask) base, surihaku foil outlining, satin-style embroidery, and sumi e brush-painted highlights. In excellent condition, it measures 50 inches (127 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stands at 60 inches (152 cm) in height.
