A rare style of ro (gauze) summer ceremonial childs kimono featuring an unpatterned fabric except for three large family crests on the upper backside. Each of these three family crests is finely painted with different subjects: Momotaro (Peach Boy), a Heian royal cart, and a phoenix. The sleeve cuffs are "hirosode" (unsewn and open). This kimono would have been commissioned by a wealthy family. 49" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 36" height.
