Description:

This boy's silk miyamairi kimono, designed for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, features motifs depicting a Daimyo procession populated by children. The techniques employed include yuzen, sumi-e, and stenciling. It measures 34 inches (84 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stands at a height of 42 inches (106 cm).
